Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Shepton Mallet who is actively looking to recruit a Production Operator to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
- Working in a fast-paced FMCG factory environment, you will play a key role in our manufacturing, bottling, packaging, and quality control processes.
- Set up and operate production machinery and equipment.
- Monitor machine operations, ensuring quality, accuracy, and conformity.
- Perform timely machine changeovers and basic maintenance.
- Accurately record production data to ensure full traceability.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following GMP and food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with shift managers, lead operatives and engineers.
- Adhere to all company health & safety and hygiene protocols.
- Safely operate a forklift truck to transport materials, pallets, and finished products across the production and warehouse areas.
What you will need to succeed:
- Ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Previous experience in food or beverage manufacturing or FMCG is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety standards.
- FLT Licence would be great but not essential.
What you will receive in return:
- £25,466.57-£26,739.90 per year
- 4 on 4 off shift (Rotate 4 days of day shifts (6 AM-6 PM) with 4 nights (6 PM-6 AM)
