Thrive Oldham are recruiting a Self-Release Inspector for our well established client in the Torfaen South Wales Area.
Job Purpose: To manage and provide Self release activities for the business in ensuring that products being shipped to customer are on time, in full and correct. Support the Quality departments by assisting the Quality team in the daily activities ensuring that products and processes are maintained in line with business and customer requirements.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Raise Non-Conformance and reports based on Self Release findings
- Electronically Archive all Documentation creating a paperless department
- Raise Purchase Requisitions where Necessary
- Support Quality Engineer with management of the calibration system
- Preparation of relevant customer specific documentation for concerns/complaints/improvements e.g. FAIRS/concessions
- Improve / develop all aspects of the Quality function in pursuit of the departmental aims and objectives (KPI's).

- Willingness to work under own initiative
- Excellent Attention to details
- General IT skills Microsoft packages - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Desirable Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an inspection role and/or customer facing role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given

- Good interpersonal skills, the Ability to work on one's own initiative or as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills can be a customer faced role
- Ability to compose clear and concise documentation
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a simple and concise manner
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines consistently
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High self-motivation and determination to succeed
- Good literacy and numeracy
