Thrive Group are delighted to be actively recruiting for our market leading Swindon client who urgently seek a Service Technician (electrical) to join the team on a permanent basis, working in-house as well as on-site with clients.
What you will be doing in this key role:
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs to a range of manufactured and distributed products
- Conduct final quality inspections and test products
- Technical support calls, both in-house and onsite
- Evaluate and report on returned products for non-conformance
- Using a variety of hand tools, test equipment and computer programs to complete the required tasks
What you will need to succeed:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in electrical/electronic theory beneficial although not essential
- Good understanding of basic electrical and/or electronic equipment
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule formats
- Ability to use and understand Fluke meters, Hipot, Keytek, DVM's, and variac testers
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A full driving licence
