Job Description
Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our prestigious client based in the Shaftesbury area who are recruiting for a Risk and Compliance Manager (legal) on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities :
- In this varied role you will be responsible for compliance and financial risk management within the firm
- Day to day compliance management, mitigating and managing risk
- Ensuring regulatory obligations are upheld and professional practice standards remain compliant
- Designing and implementing policies and procedures
- Compliance reporting
- Management of the Firm’s Quality marks
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous compliance and risk management within the legal sector is essential
- Knowledge of SAR and AML as well as other relevant legal, financial and data protection legislation and frameworks
- First rate communication skills at all levels together with a hands-on, positive approach
- The ability to prioritise with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and practice management systems is also essential
