Our client, a well-established and growing warehousing and distribution business in the South West, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy and friendly team on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern in Radstock, Somerset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and storage facilities
  • Receiving and processing incoming deliveries
  • Checking goods for damage, discrepancies, or missing items
  • Moving and handling stock manually and using warehouse equipment
  • Container unloading and de-stuffing
  • Loading and unloading trailers for deliveries and collections
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements
  • Previous warehouse experience is essential
  • Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (in-house certifications accepted)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Bendi Truck licence desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
