Thrive Oldham are recruiting on behalf of our well established client in the Oldham area for FLT Drivers (Gas).
- Meet all health and safety needs of the business.
- All FLT drivers shall be certified by a recognised ITSSAR/RTITB approved training course and be in possession of a valid certificate.
- Before commencing any FLT work, each driver shall complete a check sheet to verify that the FLT is in a sound and usable condition. This sheet must be retained for reference.
- All FLT drivers will have experience in using gas and electric FLT's.
- FLT drivers must always wear the seat or kidney belt when operating the FLT.
- Practice good health and safety actions at all times.
- Follow all Safe Systems of Work and complete all written quality checks as required.
- Report all H&S issues at once to supervision.
- FLT drivers must ensure that the FLT is parked in a suitable area where it will not cause an obstruction.
- The FLT driver must ensure that the vehicle is switched off, left in neutral with the parking brake applied and the ignition key removed.
- Manual handling experience and warehouse experience.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Double day shift alternating between earlies (6-2 Mon-Thur / 6-11 Fri) & lates (2-10 Mon-Thur / 11-4 Fri).
- Salary £16.50 per hour.
- Gas experience at least 2 years driving FLT.
