Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Chippenham area who are actively looking to recruit a Welder / Fabricator to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

  • MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring that products are accurately manufactured in an effective and timely manner
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture parts accurately to tight tolerances
  • Fabricate and assembly of components as well as cutting, drilling, grinding and preparation of materials prior to welding
  • Meeting deadlines and targets whilst working to a high standard

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous MIG welding experience essential including using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG/MMA)
  • Ability to use electrical and manual tools
  • Experience in interpreting technical documents and drawings
  • Well-organised approach and an eye for detail
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with excellent communication skills
  • NVQ Level 3 or time served
