About the Role
As a Complex Needs Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils with a wide range of needs. You will play a vital role in helping children to communicate, regulate their emotions, develop independence and engage in learning. This is a rewarding and hands‑on role where no two days are the same:
- Support pupils’ communication, interaction and engagement
- Help pupils manage their emotions and behaviour in a calm, consistent way
- Assist with personal care where required
- Adapt activities to meet individual needs
- Contribute to a safe, structured and nurturing environment
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
