Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client near Chippenham who are actively looking to recruit a Lead Multi-Skilled Assembly Engineer on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing :
Assembly of a range of products ensuring they are built to high standards of precision and quality
Leading the coordination of jobs and process improvements
Assembly and integration of complex systems including hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components
Working from detailed engineering drawings, wiring schedules, schematics, hydraulic circuit diagrams and work instructions
Installation of hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, actuators and fittings
Electrical wiring, cable routing, termination and test of control panels and sensors
Testing of assembled systems, identifying and rectifying faults where necessaryWhat you will need to succeed :
Experience within a heavy engineering environment essential
Extensive hydraulics and diagnostic experience (large part of the role)
Electrical ability including 12 / 24v
A good eye for detail and the ability to solve problems and plan ahead
Ability to read and reverse engineer production plans
Attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality standards
Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a variety of individuals
BTEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalentWhat you will receive in return :

Full time Monday to Friday including early finish on a Friday!
