Thrive Education are currently working in partnership with a 2 Form Entry primary school in Widnes who are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join their specialist resource provision. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum who is looking to work in a supportive school environment and make a real difference to children with additional needs.
The successful candidate will work within a small resource provision, providing a highly supportive and nurturing learning environment tailored to the individual needs of the children.
The Role
- Teaching within an Early Years resource provision
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and activities
- Having a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Adapting learning to meet a range of individual needs
- Supporting children's communication, social, emotional and academic development
- Working closely with support staff, school leaders and external professionals
- Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Maintaining high expectations while recognising and responding to individual needs
The Successful Candidate
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the Early Years curriculum
- Experience working with children with additional needs, ideally within a resource provision or specialist setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to differentiate and personalise learning effectively
- A nurturing, patient and child-centred approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for helping children achieve their full potential
