Thrive Group Oldham are seeking HGV Refuse Drivers to work for the local authority in and around the Tameside area.

Rate of pay: £14.99 per hour

Working days: Monday - Friday (Bank holidays included)

You will be required to provide, in a safe and effective manner, quality and efficient Refuse Collection Service including all recycling collection activities, in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking vehicle checks each morning and reporting any defects.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Class 2 HGV Licence (CAT C), a CPC and Digi-Tacho.
  • Knowledge of the current transport regulations.
  • Previous Waste/Refuse experience preferred, but not essential - Training will be provided on the job.
