Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client near Chippenham who are actively looking to recruit an Assembly Engineer on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

  • Assembly of a range of products ensuring they are built to high standards of precision and quality
  • Working from technical drawings to assemble complete units
  • Testing of assembled systems, identifying and rectifying faults where necessary
  • Ensuring components are clean and ready for despatch

What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience within a heavy engineering environment essential
  • A good eye for detail and the ability to solve problems and plan ahead
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
  • Hydraulics, pneumatics and diagnostics experience beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a variety of individuals
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Level 3 or equivalent
