Parts Advisor
Trowbridge | Permanent | Full-Time | £29,304.60 Basic + £31,000 OTE
Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client based in Bath , who are actively looking to recruit an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join their busy team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within an automotive or parts environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced role and providing excellent customer service.
What you will be doing:
Working as part of a busy Parts Department, you will be responsible for ensuring customers and technicians receive the correct parts efficiently and on time.
Your duties will include:
- Maintaining accurate stock and inventory records of parts and supplies.
- Assisting customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts for their vehicles.
- Processing parts orders, deliveries and returns.
- Liaising with suppliers to source and order parts as required.
- Coordinating with technicians and workshop colleagues to ensure parts are available when needed.
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of parts warranties.
- Updating internal systems and ensuring all parts-related administration is completed accurately.
- Providing a professional and helpful service to customers, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Supporting the smooth and efficient running of the Parts Department.
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous experience within a Parts Department or automotive environment is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems .
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment.
- A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach.
What you will receive in return:
- Basic salary: £29,304.60 per annum
- OTE: £31,000 per annum
