Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Somerset who are actively looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to join the company initially on a 6 month contract, with a view to this going on to a permanent position.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of operational performance while developing team leadership experience.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for the management of our client's 3PL partner, oversee on-site warehouse and packaging activities, and ensure smooth, accurate, and timely order fulfilment across all channels.

  • Proven experience in a management role within warehouse/logistics; 3PL experience would be beneficial although not essential (currently outsourced).
  • Experience working in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong commercial acumen; experience of scaling up within an SME also beneficial.
  • ERP systems experience essential, ideally NetSuite; however SAP or Dynamics would also be acceptable.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm with an hour for lunch (paid).

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays.
