Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Shepton Mallet who is actively looking to recruit a Production Operator to join the team on a permanent basis.
Working in a fast-paced FMCG factory environment, you will play a key role in our manufacturing, bottling, packaging, and quality control processes.
- Set up and operate production machinery and equipment.
- Monitor machine operations, ensuring quality, accuracy, and conformity.
- Perform timely machine changeovers and basic maintenance.
- Accurately record production data to ensure full traceability.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following GMP and food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with shift managers, lead operatives and engineers.
- Adhere to all company health & safety and hygiene protocols.
- Safely operate a forklift truck to transport materials, pallets, and finished products across the production and warehouse areas.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Previous experience in food or beverage manufacturing or FMCG is desirable but not essential. Familiarity with food safety standards. FLT Licence would be great but not essential.
4 on 4 off shift (Rotate 4 days of day shifts (6 AM-6 PM) with 4 nights (6 PM-6 AM).
