Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client Warminster who are actively looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join the team on a permanent basis.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production and processing equipment. Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across manufacturing machinery and plant equipment.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Conducting root cause analysis on recurring faults and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Assisting with machinery installations, upgrades, modifications, and project work.

Qualifications required:

  • A recognised engineering qualification such as an Apprenticeship, Degree, HND, HNC, or City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Regulations qualification.
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production, FMCG, food, packaging, or industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills, with a good understanding of electrical systems.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation.

Starting Salary £44,000, increasing to £46,000 after probation.

Rotational Shifts - Alternating weeks, Early, day and Late:

  • Early Shift: 5:45 - 14:00
  • Day Shift: 07:45 - 16:00
  • Late Shift: 13:45 - 22:00
