Thrive Oldham are recruiting for a Field Operative Role in the Leicestershire area (Grade 7) 7.5 Tonne clean licence, to support labouring, manual handling, good work ethic. Training on the job will be given to the right candidate.
Job Purpose
To work as part of a team to deliver a best value, customer-focussed service throughout Leicestershire and occasionally, surrounding counties. You will work flexibly, efficiently and effectively to maintain highways, footpaths and structures in accordance with statutory requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. To undertake various maintenance works following safe working procedures, and using equipment and power tools. The list below is indicative of the types of work, but is not exhaustive:
- Kerb laying
- Footway and carriageway construction
- Excavations
- Drainage
- Block paving
- Slabbing
- Brickwork to manholes
- Routine gully emptying
- Attend to drainage problems
- Laying bitumen
- Spreading, levelling and laying of materials to lines and levels
- Support on Construction and Surfacing activities
Drive/operate specialist plant to perform all highways operations, and use equipment such as saws, compaction equipment.
