What You’ll Do
- Support pupils’ learning and development in mainstream, SEND and alternative provision settings
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Deliver targeted support to individuals and small groups to help pupils achieve their potential
- Help uphold high standards of behaviour, wellbeing and safeguarding for all learners
- Bring empathy, patience and adaptability to every interaction
Who We’re Looking For
- Are committed in helping young people "thrive" academically, socially and emotionally
- Have experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
- Communicate clearly, work as part of a team and act with professionalism
- Are flexible in approach and willing to adapt to different school environments
- Share Thrive’s commitment to quality, partnership and making a positive impact in education
Desirable but not essential:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent)
- Experience in SEN / SEMH or alternative provision settings
