Located on one of Cheshire's busiest commuter routes, The Mere Nature Kindergarten is a well-established and trusted nursery. Our beautifully designed property is ideal for local families or commuters traveling via the A556 to Manchester or the A50 to Warrington. We are proud holders of the Green Flag Eco School Award, with an active Eco Committee that grows fruit and vegetables in our allotment. Our nursery encourages children to explore nature, discover hidden treasures outdoors, and learn the importance of caring for the environment.
As a Nursery Assistant at The Mere, you will join a passionate, skilled team and have the opportunity to inspire children both indoors and outdoors while making a positive impact on their development. What You'll Do
- Provide safe, engaging, and fun learning experiences for children aged 3 months to 5 years
- Support the team in daily routines, activities, and holiday cover
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children
What We're Looking For
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- Teamwork and reliability
- Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children
