Location: Nurseries in and around the Glasgow area

Salary: £40,000 per annum + £4,000 car allowance

Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking an experienced and passionate Area Nursery Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering four of our nurseries across the Glasgow area. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong early years professional to oversee multiple settings, supporting Nursery Managers in delivering exceptional childcare and education while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence.

About The Role

  • Lead and support Nursery Managers across four settings
  • Ensure delivery of outstanding childcare in line with Scottish early years frameworks and Care Inspectorate standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and high-quality practice

Essential Criteria

You must hold a relevant SCQF Level 9 qualification in Childhood Practice (or equivalent) or be working towards one in line with SSSC registration requirements. You should also have at least two years’ experience in a leadership role with children aged 0-5 years, along with experience in leading high-quality early learning and childcare provision.
