Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (40 hrs/week).
Responsibilities
- Preparing nutritious and appealing meals for young children, encouraging healthy eating habits from an early age.
- Maintaining strict Health and Safety standards throughout the food preparation process.
- Ensuring all meals are prepared in a safe and hygienic environment.
- Overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring it meets the highest standards of sanitation.
- Accommodating any special dietary or nutritional requirements of the children.
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of working with allergens within a catering environment.
- Experience within a nursery, care home, or similar settings.
- Ability to work within time scales and understand the importance of time management.
- Knowledge of cross-contamination and its adverse impact if not adhered to.
