Location: Thrive Banchory Riverview

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (40 hrs/week).

Responsibilities

  • Preparing nutritious and appealing meals for young children, encouraging healthy eating habits from an early age.
  • Maintaining strict Health and Safety standards throughout the food preparation process.
  • Ensuring all meals are prepared in a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring it meets the highest standards of sanitation.
  • Accommodating any special dietary or nutritional requirements of the children.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of working with allergens within a catering environment.
  • Experience within a nursery, care home, or similar settings.
  • Ability to work within time scales and understand the importance of time management.
  • Knowledge of cross-contamination and its adverse impact if not adhered to.
