The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Relevant qualification in HR such as an undergraduate degree or CIPD Level 3 or equivalent professional experience.
- Understanding of HR policies and practices and current best practices.
- Strong organisational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with different groups of people.
- Digitally savvy with excellent skills in Microsoft 365 and the ability to quickly learn new systems and digital tools.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Completing the drafting of offer letters, employment contracts, addendums and any other relevant letters for peer review by the People Advisor.
- Ensuring the HRIS system and all people data including people files are always kept up to date.
- Providing effective recruitment support including drafting of job adverts, posting roles to job boards and collating all information relating to applications to support the shortlisting process.
- Managing and responding to queries that come into our central People inbox, assigning relevant queries to other stakeholders where relevant.
- Providing support to the People Advisor to deliver people projects as and when required.
Thrive at Five is at an exciting stage, coming up to their 5th birthday. We have grown rapidly over that time and are now expanding into our third and fourth regions, with a growing team of nearly 40 across the country. Our mission is to help children develop strong foundations for life and learning, in and alongside communities where families face the most challenges. We do this in two key ways: we empower parents and carers as primary influencers of child development, equipping them with the tools and support they need to be the best they can be for their children. We also foster collaboration across public, private and voluntary sectors to create a more joined-up, effective early years system. Everything we do is in partnership with the whole community, including senior decision makers, local professionals working with families, parents and carers.
About our benefits:
- Pension contributions β We will contribute 3% and you can contribute 5% towards your pension through NEST.
- Hybrid working with one anchor day a week in our central London office near to Victoria train station, coach station and underground.
