Thrive is looking for a dynamic Senior Urban Designer to join our ever-expanding team based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has a passion for creating meaningful places and communities. The role includes carrying out and overseeing the preparation of masterplans, feasibility studies and layouts, development briefs, design strategies and design codes. Working with a wider team, this person will manage delegated projects ensuring adherence to quality standards, timescales and effective client communication.

Key Attributes & Skills Needed:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of UK based experience working in an architectural or urban design practice on residential/mixed-use projects
  • Good attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proficient communicator both verbally and written, with experience preparing DAS and Design Code documents
  • Good Layout & hand drawing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Proficient in using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD and/or Sketchup
  • Desire to progress and mentor junior members of the team
