Thrive is looking for a talented and experienced senior architectural technician to join our expanding technical team in our Romsey office. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has an interest and the experience in producing quality working technical drawings for residential projects.

Summary of Role

The role will involve interpreting client briefs and the production of working drawings and technical documents while complying to the latest legislation.

The senior architectural technician assists with the delegation of projects to technicians and oversees timescales & quality control while liaising with clients and external parties.

Key Attributes & Skills Needed

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience (UK based) working on residential/mixed-use projects for developer clients and national housebuilders
  • Sound technical knowledge and understanding of building regulations
  • Experience in AutoCAD & REVIT
  • Sound knowledge of M4 (CAT 2 & 3) of the NDSS
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Desire to progress and attend CPD
  • Full UK Driver Licence
