The Company
Thrive.
App is an employee engagement and internal communications platform that helps organisations improve communication, connection, and culture.
Our mobile‑first platform empowers employees to stay informed, inspired, and involved, no matter where they work.
The Role
We’re growing and looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to help expand our reach across key sectors in Ireland, including Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, and Public Services.
You’ll play a vital role in driving top‑of‑funnel activity by working closely with our Chief Marketing Officer, following up on marketing outreach campaigns by contacting personally all those who respond to the campaigns, encouraging them to sign up for a short meeting with our CEO where they can be given a demo of the system and can explore possible use cases and benefits for their organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound outreach calls and emails to leads generated through our in‑house marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and lead lists.
- Nurture and follow up with prospects via phone, Linked In, and personalised emails.
- Research target accounts within Thrive’s Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) to tailor outreach and add value at every touchpoint.
- Book qualified demos, discovery calls, or meetings with the CEO or sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activity and pipeline status within the CRM (Zoho).
- Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly appointment‑setting targets.
- Represent Thrive professionally and communicate the value of the platform clearly and confidently, thereby inspiring organisations to explore our platform further with our CEO.
- Support ongoing marketing and outreach campaigns by providing feedback on lead quality and message effectiveness.
- Desired Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in a business development, appointment setting, or inside sales role (preferably Saa S or B2B tech).
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
- An engaging personality and telephone manner, with the persistence to get through to the right people and ability to encourage them to book an exploratory meeting.
- Experience using CRM tools (Zoho preferred) and Linked In Sales Navigator.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of outreach calls, emails and follow‑ups.
- A motivated self‑starter who thrives on hitting targets and building relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Interest in employee engagement, internal communications, and digital transformation.
- Prepared to travel to meet prospective clients at their office or at an occasional sales event.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary with generous performance‑based bonuses, paid monthly.
- Hybrid, flexible working.
- In‑house training on the Thrive platform, mobile apps, clients, use cases, benefits, etc.
- Opportunity to work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, CEO, and leadership team.
- Clear progression path within sales and business development.
- Supportive, values‑driven company culture focused on innovation and impact.
