About us
Thriva is the proactive health service built on your body’s most critical biomarkers. We combine at-home blood testing with clinical experts across disciplines to give people a compass for their ongoing health. Our technology and services keep hundreds of thousands of people on the front foot with their health.

The role
We are looking for someone to research, write, and publish best-in-class health content. Our content isn’t cookie-cutter: we create pieces grounded in real evidence, informed by what we see in current research, and shaped by our point of view.
You will work primarily on our long-form written articles. This includes researching, writing, and collaborating with our clinical and data teams to bring Thriva’s point of view to every piece we publish. You will also be responsible for publishing content and following SEO/GEO best practices.
You will work closely with our Senior Content Marketing Manager, who sets the direction of content and will provide guidance and support.
This role would suit someone 2-3 years into their career with some experience in content and/or editorial and who is comfortable reading and interpreting scientific literature.
What you will do
  • Write evidence-led articles on health topics, biomarkers, and what the numbers actually mean.
  • Appraise and translate scientific research for a layperson audience.
  • Work with our clinical team to shape articles and get medical review approval.
  • Build and publish your own work in our CMS and handle basic technical SEO setup.
  • Contribute ideas based on new research, your experience, and industry trends.
  • Initial focus will be SEO/GEO/long form, but there will be opportunity for exposure to other content types over time.
What we are looking for
  • 2-3 years of content or editorial experience
  • A good understanding of SEO (and GEO) principles
  • Comfort with scientific research
  • A genuine interest in health and health content
  • Experience using AI tools and an appetite to learn more
  • Fresh ideas and a proactive mindset
Preferred
  • A degree in life sciences, health sciences, nutrition, biomedical science or similar
  • Experience with a CMS and an email platform
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Postgraduate study or research experience
What you get
  • Room to be creative and bring new ideas to the table
  • Hybrid working, with the team together in Old Street at least twice a week.
  • A team that genuinely cares about transforming proactive health
