About the role
We’re looking for a Legal Support Assistant to join our Central Support team in our Swindon office on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with an anticipated start date of April. Central Support works across all our offices, providing assistance to fee-earning teams as well as Facilities, and you’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering this support. Day to day, you can expect your responsibilities to include:
- Offering support to all fee earners across the firm
- Undertaking relevant checks, such as anti-money laundering or conflict checks
- Audio typing documents in line with the relevant Fee Earners dictation
- Printing, scanning and binding of hard copy documents
- Supporting legal secretaries with file opening and file closing
- Preparing bundles
- Scanning, posting, printing where additional support is required
- Supporting the teams to produce draft bills and breakdowns for services to be charged to clients
- Covering for secretaries during holidays and absences
Whilst this role is based in Swindon there will be the opportunity for you to work with other fee earners based at our other offices.

- Previous experience in a legal secretarial or administrative role within a legal or professional services environment
