We are looking for an experienced Solicitor to join the Commercial Property team in our Ross-on-Wye office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience in Commercial Property law looking for a new challenge and an interesting workload.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing a first-class service to clients through effective handling of client files.
- Managing and overseeing a caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases and landlord and tenant disputes.
- Providing expert legal advice to clients on commercial property transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Negotiating and drafting commercial property contracts, leases and relevant documentation.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Collaborating with the commercial team and other teams as necessary.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 7 years’ PQE experience in commercial property law or substantial experience as a paralegal/legal executive handling commercial property matters.
- Proven experience of managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from start to finish.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to deliver clear practical advice.
- Great communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent client management skills.
- Team player, whose personal ambition is expressed through team achievement.
- A proactive, client-focused attitude with a strong attention to detail.
Location and working hours:
This is a hybrid position based in our Ross-on-Wye office. There will be an opportunity for you to work with other fee earners within the corporate team based at our other offices. It’s a full-time position, 35 hours per week. We will consider applications from candidates looking for part-time positions.

You’d be joining a friendly and inclusive Real Estate team of 30 fee earners spread across our 5 offices. The team has a broad range of specialism offering strength and depth and covering a diverse client base. As such it offers good quality experience across a wide range of commercial property work.
