About the Role

We’re seeking an Events Executive for our Marketing team in our Bristol office, to join our collaborative, commercially driven, and growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of Thrings’ events programme, including planning, logistics, invitations, attendee management, and on-the-day support.
  • Managing sponsorship commitments and ensuring benefits are maximised, from branding to speaking opportunities.
  • Working with the wider marketing team to ensure event promotion across digital channels, PR, and internal communications.
  • Liaising with suppliers, venues and partners to ensure seamless execution and value for money.
  • Maintaining and updating the events calendar and associated budgets.
  • Managing event bookings for colleagues.
  • Supporting partners and lawyers in preparing for events, including briefing notes, speeches, and follow-up activity.
  • Collecting feedback and reporting on the effectiveness of events, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Assisting with other marketing and communications projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Whilst this role is based in Bristol there will be occasional travel to other Thrings offices and events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event management within a professional services/legal environment.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business and with external partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and email marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot) is desirable.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to get involved.
