About the role

We’re seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join our ambitious Residential Property team in our Bristol office. Recently ranked Band 3 for high-value residential real estate, the team is highly client-focused and brings a wealth of experience across a broad range of transactions — from assisting first-time buyers with their conveyancing needs to advising high-net-worth individuals on complex property portfolios. You’ll be joining a non-volume team that take a considered and personal approach to every client. In this role, you’ll work closely with one of our Senior Associates, who has recently been recognised as an “Associate to Watch” in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide, gaining valuable experience within a highly regarded and supportive team.

Day to day, you will have a varied caseload, including:

  • Assisting with file opening and client onboarding processes
  • Preparing Contract packs and financial statements
  • Carrying out searches
  • Dealing with SDLT forms and payments
  • Completing applications to the Land Registry
  • Handling administrative duties, including client communication and diary management
  • Working with Thrings’ credit control team in relation to client payments

Whilst this role is based in Bristol there will be the opportunity for you to work with other fee earners based at our other offices.

About you

We’re extremely proud of the relationship we’ve built with our clients and referrers, being recognised as their trusted legal partner. It’s important to us that you have the right blend of skills to service their needs and develop new relationships:

  • Prior experience in either a residential or commercial property support role is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent organisational, communication, research, and IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail

What’s on offer

By joining Thrings you’ll become part of a supportive, inclusive firm offering a relaxed and trusting environment allowing balance between being in the office and working from home. We also offer a great working environment and plenty of social/networking events to get involved with!

In return for your hard work, you can expect to receive a variety of flexible benefits which can be tailored to your personal and family needs including Private Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Health Cashplan and much more.

If this sounds like an exciting opportunity and you have the experience to join our team, we’d love to hear from you.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, gender, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age.

No agencies please.
