About The Role
We’re seeking a Business Development Executive for our Marketing & BD team in our Bath/Bristol/Swindon office, to join our commercially driven, growing, and friendly team. Day to day, you can expect your responsibilities to include:
- Monitoring market trends, competitors, and industry sectors to identify opportunities and risks, shaping client strategies and aligning BD activities with client needs.
- Fostering strong relationships with partners, heads of department, and team leads to understand growth priorities and support business development.
- Identifying cross-selling and growth opportunities within the client base, developing client plans, and enhancing market presence through events and networking.
- Representing the firm at industry events, supporting the growth of referral networks, and championing innovation to improve efficiency and client experience.
- Tracking BD metrics, supporting business development planning, and leveraging systems for targeted sales campaigns and relationship management.
Whilst this role is based in Bath/Bristol/Swindon there will be the opportunity for you to work with other fee earners based at our other offices.
About You

Your ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with our fee-earning teams will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and driving successful outcomes:
- Experience in a marketing or business development role in a Legal or Professional Services environment.
- Strong organisational, communication, project management, and IT skills.
- Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM systems is desirable.
- Commercial mindset.
