About Threshold Threshold is a leading mental health charity in Northern Ireland. We offer evidence based therapeutic approaches to helping people with severe and enduring mental illness rehabilitate back into the community. We are recognized as a leading provider of services for adults and older people, with a strongly embedded psychological approach. We are currently recruiting for a Floating Support Project Worker. Please note that this a fixed term contact for two years. Job Purpose To encourage and enable clients to achieve independence and reach their full potential. Assessing clients’ needs and risks and setting goals to support their development. Assisting individuals in maintaining their tenancies to prevent homelessness. Coordinating with community services, housing teams, Northern Ireland Housing Executive, NIHE and mental health professionals. Supporting other team members when necessary, including assisting with group activities. Essential criteria GCSE English and Mathematics Grades A C ordemonstrable equivalent e.g., Essential Skills Level 2 or a psychology degree or any allied health / social work qualification. Six months full-time experience or equivalent working in a Health & Social Care Environment, i.e., mental health, rehabilitation or learning disability. To be fully flexible adhering to assigned areas of responsibility as requested by the Floating Support Project Manager or delegated nominee. 1 years demonstrable working experience of working with Microsoft (MS) Office systems to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Possess a current and valid driving licence, with business insurance orhave access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full. Desirable criteria Proven Experience working in mental health. Benefits Include: £23, 066 per annum. 26 days of annual leave, to include 12 statutory bank holidays. Health Cash Plan.
