The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Purpose of the role: To encourage and enable people supported to achieve independence and reach their full potential. Assessing individuals' needs, risks and setting goals to support their recovery. Assisting individuals in maintaining their tenancies to prevent homelessness. Coordinating with community services, housing teams, Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE). Supporting other team members when necessary, including assisting with group activities. Please note: Driving and use of a car is essential as it is a floating support role and involves daily visits to clients' homes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Therapeutic Programme Development, Maintenance and Review: Adopt a collaborative approach in the development of goals with resident/tenant involvement. Facilitation of regular working groups for staff developmental purposes.
  • Staff Development: Adopt a coaching approach for newly joined Threshold staff.
  • Project Operations: Assist the Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager or nominee, ensuring operational efficiency of the programme, including regular maintenance of standardised records for Threshold and external governing bodies, ensuring the Project operates within agreed budgetary parameters, and compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • External Stakeholders: Ensure that a best practice approach is adopted when engaging with external stakeholders, including Health and Social Care (HSC) Trusts, NIHE, and nominated Housing Associations. Regular contact with designated allied health professionals and charitable agencies for guidance in respect of benefits and housing needs.
  • Collaborative Working: Regular attendance and participation in staff meetings as scheduled. Working collaboratively with other internal departments, including Finance, People, Digital and Learning and Development.
  • Supervision and Training: Participation in monthly supervision sessions with the Floating Support Project Manager or other suitable nominee. Ensure participation in mandatory and refresher training, as required.
  • General: Actively promote the organisational mission, values, aims and objectives, ensuring all Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times. Be a cultural carrier for Threshold. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including NISCC registration and Access NI check requirements. Adhere to all Threshold's Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

Person Specification: Applicants must provide evidence by the specified closing date for how they meet the following essential and desirable criteria:

  • Education and Professional Qualifications: Essential GCSE English and Mathematics Grades A-C or demonstrable equivalent & Lvl 3 RQF Qualification or equivalent social science qualification & Six months demonstrable experience working in a Health & Social Care Environment, i.e., mental health, Physical Disability, rehabilitation or learning disability or housing environment/homelessness. Or a psychology degree (lv 6) or other relevant discipline or social sciences equivalent & willing to attain Lvl 3 RQF Qualification in post through organisation.
  • Circumstances: Essential to be fully flexible adhering to assigned areas of responsibility as requested by the Floating Support Project Manager or delegated nominee.
  • Competencies: Essential ability to demonstrate alignment with Threshold's core values, communication and interpersonal skills, motivation and drive for excellence, innovation and creativity, integrity and honesty, collaboration and teamwork.
  • Information Technology: Desirable demonstrable working experience of working with Microsoft (MS) Office systems to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Additional Requirements: Desirable possess a current and valid driving license, with business insurance or have access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.
  • Experience: Desirable proven experience working in mental health.
