What you’ll do
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Network Engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the end‑to‑end design and architectural strategy across the Network Engineering domain, ensuring scalable, secure, and future‑proof solutions.
- Own the end‑to‑end demand management process, from intake to prioritisation to portfolio allocation.
- Own the wholesale relationship and strategic wholesale outcomes.
- Support quarterly and annual demand planning reviews with senior leadership.
- Identify systemic delivery challenges and escalate cross‑functional risks to the executive leadership team.
- Develop and manage delivery plans with internal/external stakeholders and partners to enable delivery of our requirements and the contracted outcomes to budget, time and quality.
- Provide technical and delivery leadership and direction to the team and to our partners.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leading teams in Telecom functions and infrastructure.
- Proven experience of managing teams, providing decision making and problem‑solving leadership.
- Proven ability to set technical delivery direction and quality/standards for delivery and design.
- Proven ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders within the organization and to act as the liaison between the business, other technical communities and the 3rd party delivery teams to ensure the delivery of the business requirements.
- Proven capability to communicate the realisation of business benefits, articulate complex problem statements simply and manage escalations through successful resolution.
- Technical Literacy – Deep understanding of cross domain network solutions.
