Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you'll do

The Shared OSS Service Assurance & Management Lead is accountable for the integration of the Service Assurance and Service Management platforms between VodafoneThree and VMO2 under the Beacon sharing agreement. The role owns the development and maintenance of all technical artefacts related to this integration and is responsible for assessing both inbound and outbound demand to determine impact, define required transformations, and translate requirements into clear technical deliverables. Acting as a key integration authority within the OSS domain, the Lead engages internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of agreed outcomes to scope, budget, time, and quality.

The position also builds and prioritises the 18‑month technical roadmap, strengthening domain expertise and ensuring long‑term strategic alignment. The role requires strong relationship management to maintain delivery performance, ensure contractual compliance, and realise business value. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the Lead supports the successful execution of network initiatives while managing senior stakeholders and coordinating internal and external communications to drive transparency, alignment, and achievement of strategic objectives.

  • Accountable for the end‑to‑end integration between the VodafoneThree Service Assurance platform and the Service Management platform with VMO2 platforms.
  • Ensure all integrations fully support and underpin contractual obligations with our network‑sharing partner VMO2.
  • Management of inbound and outbound demand from/to external partners.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, comprehensive technical specifications for platform integrations with VMO2.
  • Develop, maintain and govern High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD) documentation for all relevant integrations.
  • Define acceptance criteria and testing requirements for all relevant integrations; oversee and coordinate test execution to ensure successful delivery and compliance.
  • Manage relationships with external partners to ensure delivery performance, alignment with contractual obligations, and value for the business.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support the successful delivery of network engineering initiatives and related applications.
  • Manage the relationship with our VMO2 counterparts from a technical and delivery perspective, providing subject‑matter expertise and serving as the primary technical interface for all integration‑related demands and initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the relevant platform owners and domain Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across VodafoneThree and Vodafone Group to ensure alignment on integration scope, priorities, and technical direction.
  • Act as the primary liaison with our counterparts in VMO2, aligning on technical requirements, interface specifications, and cross‑organizational dependencies to enable seamless integration delivery.
  • Support RFP activities for new solutions in respective domains.
  • Manage a range of senior stakeholders and internal/external communications.

Qualifications

Who are you

  • Proven experience in Radio tools and Service Assurance platforms within the OSS domain.
  • Good understanding of mobile network architecture and relevant processes in network design, deployment and operations.
  • Expert knowledge of OSS solutions and their implementation covering areas in Service Management, Configuration Management, Network Inventory and Customer Experience Management.
  • Strong experience of providing technical, decision making and problem‑solving leadership for a technical domain and can demonstrate setting technical direction and quality/standards for delivery and design.
  • Proven experience in Service Assurance within the OSS domain and working experience with MyCom solution.
  • Proven experience in Service Management within the OSS domain and working experience with BMC solution.
  • Demonstratable experience in delivering projects spanning across different organisations and managing stakeholders across different business partners.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining technical artifacts (BRS, HLD, LLD) and TOGAF 9.1 Certified.
