My client is looking for a friendly, motivated Software Developer to join their IT Development team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years’ experience who enjoys solving problems, building useful tools, and helping to support the systems they use.
You’ll be working mainly with .NET WebForms (in either C# or VB.NET), along with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and plenty of SQL. You’ll help us create new features and also look after some of our long-running systems that are important to the wider business.
What You’ll Be Doing- Building new features and improvements to existing systems.
- Working with WebForms (C# or VB.NET) to support and develop our existing applications.
- Writing and maintaining SQL queries and working with SQL Server databases.
- Fixing problems, improving performance, and keeping their systems running smoothly.
- Working closely with other developers, testers, and the wider team to deliver helpful, reliable solutions.
- Sharing ideas and suggesting improvements.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a software developer.
- Confidence working with .NET WebForms (C# or VB.NET).
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development.
- Experience writing SQL and working with SQL Server.
- Someone who enjoys problem-solving and improving existing code.
- Ability to work independently when needed, but also happy working as part of a team.
- Some experience with React and Tailwind.
- Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Experience working with APIs or web services.
- Some understanding of UI/UX.
- Experience working in an Agile team.
