Location: Reading + (Hybrid Working)

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Duration: 6 month fixed term contract

Responsibilities

  • Managing complex and high-risk employee relations cases by providing expert advice and coaching to people managers and stakeholders across the organisation, driving business objectives and operational outcomes.
  • Managing complex and high-risk cases including:
  • Disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Sickness absence and capability issues
  • Performance management and appeals
  • Whistleblowing and early conciliation
  • Settlement agreements and Employment Tribunal claims
  • Conducting risk assessments on ER-related issues, providing clear and viable options for business consideration
  • Analyzing ER data to identify trends and insights, using tools like Excel to manipulate data and inform business decisions
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal customers, acting as a business partner and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Qualifications

    • Has comprehensive technical knowledge and skills in Employee Relations, including high-volume and highly complex case management
    • Has experience in identifying, assessing, and managing risk using employment law knowledge and commercial experience
    • Excellent communication skills and technical guidance
    • Has in-depth knowledge of Employment Law and its application in a business setting
