What you’ll do
- Represent the entire Networks function in engagements with all business teams (CBU, VBU, WBU, Legal, Regulatory) VF Group (VSA) and IT teams.
- Provide consultancy and support for network‑related initiatives, helping the business shape demand in a clearly scoped and aligned form; identify and resolve conflicts.
- Brief the Network leadership team on all key bids (EDRA/Lighthouse) and key project demand; manage and resolve escalations related to interlock and demand.
- Organise and lead regular interlocks with business units to share updates on the network roadmap, evolution plans, and investment priorities.
- Disseminate network capability roadmaps to external teams while ensuring confidentiality boundaries are respected.
- Track and maintain business unit roadmaps that generate significant network demand, ensuring visibility and alignment with network planning.
- Ensure all business initiatives and demands follow the formal network demand intake and assessment process.
- Attend and report on relevant business meetings, identifying network implications and debriefing senior network leadership through established governance forums.
- Maintain a high‑level view of major network and IT initiatives over an 18‑month horizon, supporting strategic planning and resource alignment.
- Lead and coordinate impact assessments, drawing on specialist input from NS&T and other network domains.
- Technically own the live Network Demand process, ensuring all demand is tracked and managed through appropriate tooling until completion and transfer.
- Validate incoming demand for priority, budget alignment, business outcomes, and architectural feasibility in collaboration with strategy teams.
Who you are
- Proven track record in telecoms business engagement, network strategy or transformation roles.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across commercial, legal, regulatory, and technical domains.
- Deep understanding of network capability planning and demand forecasting processes.
- Excellent track record in managing cross‑functional forums and translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and demand intake processes.
