As Finance Analyst you will be supporting the Finance Leads by delivering financial analysis and insight for Networks and IT Opex, including IFRS processing. You will be supporting on forecasting, month-end processes, financial reporting and business partnering. You will be responsible for providing financial insight, control and support to a variety of teams business wide to support the short and long term financial plans. You will use your commercial skills to highlight opportunities for further efficiencies to ensure the opex is run in a cost-effective manner. You will be an integral part of driving the transformation of the post-merger forecasting, budget and reporting to ensure effective business information and governance processes are in place, to ensure the business are informed, but also own and are held to account for delivery of financial targets.
The role requires a strong commercial mindset, a good understanding of the areas you support, strong stakeholder management, relationship building skills with the ability and confidence to challenge the status quo, and drive performance and results.
- Own the month end reporting processes and initial preparation of reporting packs.
- Leading on financial analysis, month end variance analysis, consolidation of results feeding into Finance Leads and communicating out to the business.
- This role will use strong understanding of the business and relevant areas to drive analysis and deliver insights.
- This role will utilize analytical skills, business partnering and presentational skills, whilst leading on specific topics during budget and quarterly re-forecasts to ensure accurate reporting and understanding of business performance.
- Ownership of IFRS 16 processing for Networks and Datacentres.
- Ownership for completion of Networks and IT Balance Sheet Recs.
- Prioritise and manage competing demands from diverse stakeholders while leveraging strong financial analysis skills to deliver high-impact insights on Opex.

- Strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of operational areas across the business.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to appropriately challenge and influence.
- High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all outputs.
- Effective management and communication of month-end processes, including clear variance analysis, alongside a proactive approach to ownership and continuous improvement.
