Location: Newbury + Hybrid

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon to Fri

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and benefits

Hybrid working approach allows staff to work both in the office and from home, with a flexible schedule of 2‑3 days in office per week, at least 8 days per month.

What you’ll do

  • Own commercial optimisation across the partner portfolio, identifying opportunities to improve margin, reduce cost, and maximise value from £1.2bn of annual spend.
  • Develop and maintain the partner selection framework for bids, defining which partner to use based on contractual terms, volume rebates, and commercial commitments.
  • Develop a deep understanding of VB UK segment commercial goals, translating these into clear commercial priorities and objectives so every partnership is oriented around what the business needs to deliver.
  • Hold partner managers to account against commercial objectives – tracking delivery, challenging performance and ensuring commercial ambition is being executed at a partner level.
  • Embed partner selection into the bid qualification process, working with Pre‑Sales and Solution to influence decisions.

Who you are

  • Strong commercial experience in a partner, supplier or bid commercial role within B2B.
  • Deep understanding of partner commercial constructs.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling capability.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience translating business commercial objectives into operational priorities.
