A Commercial Finance Analyst – Three Trading will support the Finance Lead in delivering consumer IRO performance by providing analytical detail, insights, and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform commercial performance analysis of Three trading, analysing key drivers of IRO performance and trends to support commercial decision making and monitoring KPIs such as inflow volumes and rates, handset/SIM mixes, pre to post values, churn as a % of base, and outflow rates.
  • Maintain trading cadence packs and provide detailed commentary for weekly trading and month‑end, maintain slideware scorecards, and support the Finance Lead with insights for key meetings such as the Investment Forum.
  • Own and maintain detailed variance analysis for MoM, YoY and vs target for all aspects of IRO, breaking down into key volume and value drivers to identify focus areas.
  • Support the Finance Lead in maintaining forecast models across IRO, including data validation and highlighting inconsistencies.
  • Maintain and update a centralised R&O register, track inputs from commercial teams, quantify impacts, and ensure changes are reflected in outlooks and forecasts.
  • Consolidate commercial inputs and prepare weekly outlooks, ensuring the latest calls are reflected.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to create value‑adding business cases, ensuring accuracy of calculations and data integrity.
  • Perform additional related tasks and support projects as needed to meet evolving needs of the commercial finance team and VodafoneThree business.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified or part‑qualified, current studier (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with strong financial analysis skills.
  • Experience in variance analysis and understanding actual results versus forecasts or business cases.
  • Strong reporting and PowerPoint skills.
  • Commercial mindset to identify trends and provide sound recommendations and challenge to the Finance Lead and Commercial Teams.
