Job Description
The Senior Finance Analyst is a key role in the FP&A team that is part of the consumer margin vertical. You will work to support your line manager, help develop and support other members of your team as well as collaborate with key stakeholders in the wider business. Your core responsibilities include:
- Leading on financial analysis, month end variance analysis and commentary.
- Consolidation of results feeding into the Finance manager and head of FP&A.
- Driving analysis and insight to support the delivery of the financial objectives of the business.
What you’ll do
- Financial Reporting: Ensure that internal and external reporting deadlines are met with minimal errors. Lead on improving processes and efficiencies of outputs using the latest tools.
- Financial Analysis: Validate the monthly results and produce variance analysis to budgets/forecasts, pulling out key drivers. Report and distribute key trends to senior leaders, identifying risks & opportunities.
- Forecasting and budgeting: Support your designated margin business partner with the completion of forecasts and budgets.
- Business partnering: Excellent stakeholder management including senior leaders within finance and the business.
- Adhoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analysis for your area, exploring data and trends, to provide insights to the business.
Qualifications
- Fully Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- 1-2 years PQE.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Ability to identify work requirements independently.
- Able to prioritise and deliver high quality/accurate/timely reporting.
