They are seeking an exceptional technology leader to join the board and take responsibility for their international technology, data and digital strategy. Technology is moving at an extraordinary pace, and the board needs someone who can cut through the noise, identify what matters for this business and translate emerging capabilities into practical competitive advantage.
The Chief Information and Transformation Officer will own strategic outcomes: technology and data roadmap, architecture decisions, investment prioritisation, governance and the leadership of transformation programmes. Other responsibilities include:
- Define and deliver the technology and digital strategy, aligned to the company's growth trajectory
- Act as executive owner for enterprise technology risk, resilience and digital competitiveness, ensuring technology considerations are embedded into overall business strategy, capital allocation and long-term planning
- Act as the board's primary adviser on technology, data and AI - cutting through the pace of change to identify what is genuinely relevant and actionable for this business
- Translate emerging technology developments into practical, prioritised initiatives with clear business cases
- Establish disciplined technology investment governance, ensuring prioritisation is aligned to commercial impact, scalability, operational resilience and return on capital
- Ensure the business adapts quickly to a rapidly evolving technology landscape, maintaining awareness of market shifts and competitor adoption
- Lead technology due diligence on acquisitions or new capabilities, and define integration approach
- Lead technology and systems integration planning for acquisitions, ensuring rapid alignment of ERP, data, cyber security, reporting and operational processes
- Develop repeatable integration frameworks to support Harwin's long-term buy-and-build strategy
- Define the technology architecture required to support operations across multiple sites and geographies as the business scales
