THE ROLE:
Three Six Zero is seeking an experienced, London-based Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns for a key artist on our roster. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic/dance music and a proven track record of delivering impactful album campaigns. Prior experience working on high-performing or chart-topping releases is highly preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the global marketing vision and long-term release strategy across all frontline and catalog priorities, ensuring alignment with the artist’s brand and commercial goals
- Spearhead strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and brand integrations to amplify marketing reach
- Oversee social media campaigns and strategies that resonate within the music sphere and relevant digital spaces
- Drive innovative storytelling and audience development strategies to enhance artist narratives and visibility across platforms
- Manage external teams of creatives, social media managers, and a variety of vendors and third-party agencies
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners including DSPs, social platforms, brands, influencer and ad agencies to help grow the artist’s career
- Collaborate with DSPs to secure editorial, platform support, and release timelines
- Analyze performance metrics across campaigns, creating actionable insights to inform future strategies and quarterly reporting to senior leadership
- Manage and allocate annual marketing budgets; ensure campaign spending is efficient, strategic, and ROI-driven
- Analyze and communicate competition strategies as well as digital marketing trends
- Act as a key thought leader within the wider team, contributing to high-level discussions on innovation, technology integration, and market trends
- General problem solving for international affiliates for all aspects of releases entailing communication with legal, supply chain, digital, sales, licensing, etc
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-7 years of marketing experience in the music industry
- Passionate music fan with vast knowledge of the digital and social landscape
- Deep understanding of music streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube,
- Amazon Music, Deezer, Pandora, etc.)
- Established network of relevant contacts within the music and cultural digital
- Communities
- Knowledgeable in best practices of campaign development to optimize efficiency and
- quality of campaigns across all channels (email, web, social)
- Social media savvy with demonstrated knowledge of and professional experience with
- social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, Discord, etc.
- Experience in social media content deployment, including copy writing/editing, image
- editing/optimizing and scheduling/optimizing posts for best performance
- Creative self-starter with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding attention to organization and detail
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
