Three Shires Hospital in Northampton is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist - MSK to join our Physiotherapy team. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week with a flexible shift pattern.
Duties Of This Role Include:
- Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
- Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
- Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in line with HCPC, CSP, and local policy.
- Participate in audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement projects.
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing CPD and reflective practice to support your development as a senior clinician.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria:
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to team working and service improvement.
- Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a relevant clinical area.
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff or students.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
- Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.
