Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
- Provide classroom-based support to ensure all children are engaged and making progress
- Work with small intervention groups or deliver 1:1 support for children with SEN needs
- Help create a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Liaise with teachers and SENDCo to implement targeted strategies for individual pupils
- Support children’s emotional, social, and academic development for an enriching educational experience
Teaching Assistant requirements:
- Previous experience supporting children in a Primary school setting
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Understanding of SEN needs such as Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
