Working closely with a 3-form entry Primary school in Canterbury, Three R’s are looking to recruit reliable and committed Teaching Assistants ready to make a real difference in Key Stage 2. Due to increased demand for student support, the school seeks additional Teaching Assistants to join their welcoming staff team and work collaboratively with other staff members across year groups.

Teaching Assistant responsibilities:

  • Support learning within KS2 mainstream classrooms
  • Deliver 1:1 support for pupils who require additional guidance
  • Lead or assist with small group interventions
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with teachers and fellow TAs to promote pupil progress

Teaching Assistant requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a primary classroom (essential)
  • Confidence supporting KS2 pupils academically and pastorally
  • Ability to deliver small group or intervention sessions
  • Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
