Looking for a rewarding KS1 teaching role with greater flexibility? A welcoming and inclusive Medway primary school is seeking a part-time KS1 Teacher to join them for a minimum of 3 days per week as part of a job share from Term 1.
You’ll be teaching a friendly class of approximately 30 pupils, supported by two Teaching Assistants, one of whom works as a 1:1 SEN TA during mornings. The role has scope for a shared or adapted planning model depending on your availability and strengths, making it ideal for experienced teachers seeking work–life balance.

The ideal KS1 Teacher will:

  • Have strong classroom teaching experience in Key Stage 1
  • Be a confident team player who can collaborate in a job share
  • Be open to flexible planning arrangements with the other KS1 teacher
  • Bring enthusiasm, care, and creativity to the classroom
  • Ideally have experience supporting SEN within a mainstream setting

KS1 Teacher requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or recognised equivalent
  • Recent teaching experience in a UK primary school
  • Availability for at least 3 days per week

  • Right to work in the UK and commitment to safeguarding
