Schools are increasingly seeking teachers who can offer stability and continuity for their pupils—whether that’s short-term cover delivering pre-planned lessons, or medium to long-term roles with full responsibilities including planning and marking (with higher rates available). Covering areas across Kent including: Ashford, Canterbury, Dartford, Folkestone, Gravesend, Maidstone, Medway, Thanet, Tonbridge & Tunbridge Wells.
The ideal Secondary Teacher will:
- Be available full-time (Monday to Friday)
- Deliver engaging lessons across KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities available)
- Follow pre-set work confidently for short-term cover roles
- Take on planning, marking and assessment in longer-term assignments
- Maintain strong classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment
Secondary Teacher requirements:
- QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching in secondary schools
- Strong behaviour management and professionalism
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Flexibility to work in a variety of schools across Kent
