We work with a number of trusted partner schools throughout the area who need teachers for daily general cover, as well as short and longer-term subject-specific roles that often develop from supply placements. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons for general cover across KS3-KS4
  • Maintain strong classroom management and keep pupils engaged in learning
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school settings
  • For longer-term roles, commit to full duration and where required take on full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
  • Support schools in maintaining consistent learning during teacher absence

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK
  • Recent experience teaching in secondary classrooms
  • Confident behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Flexibility to travel across Ashford, Canterbury and surrounding areas
  • Professional, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching
